Hi.
As you can see here: http://drzewiecki-design.net/forum/view ... 1610#11610 the gates are already assigned to proper airlines.

Thanks but this doesn't answer my question, that is simply a map of JFK and the gates itself.
I understand that you are very busy, I (and probably alot of other users) would just want an up to date JFK with all the correct airlines at their assigned terminal.

I have attached a file which shows all the airlines and their assigned terminals

https://1drv.ms/x/s!Aq-Gmz7mtNHShgAiEOEmqB57l0xr (Excel online)

Note that United Airlines no longer fly out of JFK

Cheers

Negative - this is the airport's AFD that shows different gate assignments (diferent colors) and they are indeed assigned to different airlines as per maps.

In this case we should consider that this might be not our product causing the problem but something else, f/e the AI program that you use to generate AI traffic in the sim. If flight schedules in that program include United Airlines flights from JKF, no matter what gate assignments are, FS will generate such flights. Even if you assign all gates to f/e Air Canada.

Okay I think we have some crossed wires here.

All I'm saying is that AFD file is out of date and needs to be updated to coinside with the file/link I gave you.

Thanks :)

Yes, I understand that, but can you provide me a particular element of the file that needs to be updated or a proof that a particular element is wrong? Or perhaps I am misunderstanding something.

Texture Flicker on som buildings

Post by klyons »

With JFK V2 the textures on some of the buildings are flickering in and out. The worst example is the side of the terminal behind the control tower. I have attached a photo.

No buildings

Post by Lemtrix »

After a normal instalation of NY airports and starting the sim the Ny airports do not have buildings, Anti virus was off, turning up the settings did not solve it either, sim I am using is P3D v4.

This was reported by some other customers and in 100% of cases there was another scenery installed (or some remains of onother scenery). You need to make sure you are doing a clear install of our product. As a test you might deactivate all our airports via the installer and see what remains in the sim.
Lemtrix wrote:airports do not have buildings
This is usually caused by multiple Scenery Library entries for the same airport (folder). Please make sure that you have only one Scenery Library entry for our product.

Hi, first of all great job on all the airports.
I might just be that I'm not familiar enough with your products, but there is nothing installed my C:\Users\...\Documents\Prepar3D v3 Add-ons folder. Or shouldn't there be anything? MY Antivirus was turned off for installation.
Also, is there a way of activating/deactivating the airports without running the installer again?

Thanks very much in advance

Hi!.
The most reliable and efficient way to deactivate those airport is indeed via the installer.
In case of P3Dv3 the product is added to the Scenery Library in a different way than in P3Dv4, so nothing is required to be installed in the mentioned folder.

ah yea I think it was due to multiple entries, I deleted the scenery cfg entry and now it works fine

Hi there,

I've looked at the assigned gates and seen that the following needs to be changed to match JFK's site (note I don't know the exact gate assignments at the specific terminal but I know the following airlines depart from them:

DELETE FROM AFD FILE: MAX

MOVED TO ANOTHER TERMINAL: LOT - Polish Airlines (Moved to Terminal 7)

NOTE: Korean Airlines - KAL, Lufthansa - DLH and Air France - AFR all use A380s from Terminal 1. (Heavy gates 40.0)

Terminal 2(Delta etc):
ADD: None

DELETE FROM AFD FILE: None

MOVED TO ANOTHER TERMINAL: None

Terminal 4 (Emirates, KLM, Virgin America etc):
ADD: Air Serbia - ASL, Thomas Cook - TCX, China Southern - CSN, Volaris - VOI, XL Airways France - XLF and WestJet - WJA

DELETE FROM AFD FILE: BLC, Transearo - TSO, CRX, Aerosvit Airlines - AEW, SEU

MOVED TO ANOTHER TERMINAL: TAM Airlines & LAN Airlines (LATAM) moved to Terminal 8

NOTE: B29, A6 and A7 are 3 A380 capable gates in Terminal 4 - Emirates - UAE, Etihad - ETD, Singapore - SIA and Asiana - AAR all use A380s that fly to JFK. (Heavy 40.0 gates)

Terminal 5 (Jetblue, Hawaiian etc):
ADD: Aer Lingus - EIN & TAP Portugal - TAP (Need medium gates)

DELETE FROM AFD FILE: None

MOVED TO ANOTHER TERMINAL: None

Terminal 7 (British Airways, Qantas etc):
ADD: Aerolineas Argentinas - ARG, Qatar Airways - QTR, Openskies - BOS, Interjet - AIJ (Also Terminal 1), Ukraine - AUI, LOT Polish Airlines - LOT

DELETE FROM AFD FILE: United Airlines - UAL, US Airlines - USA, Air Canada - ACA & SAB (not sure what airline this is)

MOVED TO ANOTHER TERMINAL: Cathay Pacific - CPA (Moved to Terminal 8 ) & Brussels Airlines - BEL (Moved to Terminal 1)

Terminal 8 (American Airlines etc)
ADD: LATAM - TAM & LAN

Many thanks!
