Re: NY Airports v2 X
Hi, sorry, but the last version of this scenery was released in 2020. As there are no plans to work on any updates for P3D, we don't perform any special tests in this simulator, and thus, we are not able to help with Navi points.
Split Off Individual Airports
I want to install KEWR, KJFK, and KLGA in FSX, but would like the ability to activate only a single aircraft at a time to reduce VAS usage. I use Scenery Config Editor to select airports and would like three entries similar to NY Airports v2 X KEWR, NY Airports v2 X KJFK, NY Airports v2 X KLGA.
is it as simple as not loading the AFD.bgl file for the individual airport, or will I still be getting photo scenery, etc loaded for the missing airport?
Ideally, I would like the ability for Chicago and Washington also.
Thanks,
Ernie

Re: Split Off Individual Airports
I may have solved this by doing multiple single airport installs then renaming the folder. Seems, to work.airernie wrote: ↑Tuesday 11 Mar 2025, 11:05 I want to install KEWR, KJFK, and KLGA in FSX, but would like the ability to activate only a single aircraft at a time to reduce VAS usage. Re: NY Airports v2 X
Thanks for the update! Installed NY Airports v2 X (KJFK, KLGA, KTEB) on P3Dv4 — the difference with the first version is really noticeable. I was especially impressed by the new textures and detailing of objects on the ground: equipment, static planes, lighting — everything looks much more realistic.DD Stanislaw wrote: ↑Friday 14 Jul 2017, 11:50 NY Airports v2 X for FSX and P3D by Drzewiecki Design

The upgrade from v1 to v2 is payware (with a 25% discount). Differencies in comparison to the version 1:
• Much better visuals
- 100% of objects re-exported
- new ground polygons with better textures
- new aerial images
- better detail objects (ground service vehicles, cars, people)
- animated objects
• Performance up to 300% higher than in v1
- Extensive LODs
- Custom shadows only
- Lights done from scratch
- All models re-exported and highly optimized
- All textures compiled to 4096pix sheets
- Ground polygons highly optimized
- New, optional static aircraft
• Updated layouts (aprons, taxiways, markings etc.)
• SODE support for seasonal changes and jetway animations
• New lighting system (as in the latest Polish Airports series) for runways and taxiways, much more performance friendly and realistically looking
• New apron lights - optimized for performance and best visuals (see screenshots below)
• No default library objects to be used - this will boost up the performance too. By the way, if you're diving deep into scenery setup or tweaking sim performance and want quick AI-based suggestions (or even help with config files or error logs), you might find https://overchat.ai/chat/best-free-ai-chat surprisingly helpful — it’s like having a tech-savvy co-pilot ready 24/7.
• Full compatibility with FSX, FSX:SE, P3Dv1, P3Dv2, P3Dv3 and P3Dv4
Additionally:
• "Extracts" will no longer be available - instead customers with "Extracts" (and the full v1 version) will receive a 25% discount for the full version. Please note that customers with "Extracts" will get the discount only for the product where the same airport is included - if you have a KJFK Extract you will get a discount for NY Airports v2 X: KJFK, KLGA, KTEB only.
• The product is distributed in 2 parts - "NY Airports X v2: KJFK, KLGA, KTEB" and "NY Airports X v2: KEWR, KLDJ, KCDW". While working perfectly together and even installing into one folder, each part will still be independent.
• Each airport will be optional with optional features to be controlled via installer (similar to how we did it in Moscow) - thanks to this all airports will use shared textures, perform better and use less VAS.
Performance has also increased significantly. Previously, there were noticeable FPS drops on JFK, now the scene works much more stably even with high traffic density. Installation went smoothly, the installer interface has become more convenient, especially with the ability to disable unnecessary airports and functions.
SODE implementation of animations and seasonality also works correctly, jetways connect without glitches. Excellent work, the update is definitely worth the money, especially considering the discount for v1 owners.
It remains only to wait for a similar improvement for the other projects in the series

Re: NY Airports v2 X
I'm a little bit surprised that you have already installed the update that was released a long time ago, but it's nice to hear that you are happy with it.
Unfortunately, we will not be working on any FSX/P3D projects, but you may be able to discover some other updates/upgrades we have made in recent years.
